These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Detective.Games (the "Game"), jointly operated by ASAMARA DIGITAL - FZCO ("Asamara Digital") and THE SAME Adventures GmbH ("THE SAME Adventures") (together "we", "us", "our"). By creating an account or using the Game, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
You must be at least 18 years of age to use Detective.Games. The Game contains themes of murder mystery and criminal investigation. By creating an account, you confirm you are 18 or older.
To access the Game, you must register using a valid email address and create a password. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials and must notify us immediately of any unauthorised account use at info@detective.games.
Access to the Game requires payment. Current pricing is displayed at the point of purchase and is inclusive of applicable taxes.
Payments are processed by Paddle.com Market Limited, who is the Merchant of Record for all orders. Your purchase is subject to Paddle's terms at paddle.com/legal/buyers. We do not store your payment card details.
If you are an EU or Swiss consumer, you have a statutory right to withdraw from a purchase within 14 days, without giving any reason — unless you have already begun using the digital content and expressly waived your withdrawal right at purchase. To request a refund, visit paddle.net/checkout or contact info@detective.games.
Please contact us before initiating a chargeback. We aim to resolve payment disputes quickly and fairly.

You may optionally upload photos during gameplay. By uploading, you confirm you have the right to do so and that the photos do not infringe third-party rights. You grant Asamara Digital and THE SAME Adventures a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to store and display those photos within the game. Social media publication by either company requires your separate explicit consent via checkbox at upload. All social media posts will be credited to Detective.Games.
Feedback is non-confidential and may be used by either company to improve the Game. Publication of your feedback with your name on social media or our website requires your separate explicit consent via checkbox on the feedback form.
You are solely responsible for content you upload or submit. We reserve the right to remove any content that violates these Terms or applicable law.
All content comprising Detective.Games — including game design, storylines, code, graphics, trademarks, and branding — is the intellectual property of ASAMARA DIGITAL - FZCO and/or THE SAME Adventures GmbH or their respective licensors. Nothing in these Terms grants you any ownership rights in the Game.
We aim to keep the Game available at all times but cannot guarantee uninterrupted access. We may suspend, modify, or discontinue the Game at any time, with reasonable notice where practicable.
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be notified by email at least 14 days before taking effect. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
The Game is provided "as is" and "as available". To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties. We shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages. Our total aggregate liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be excluded by law. Consumer protection rights under EU or Swiss law are not affected.
We may suspend or terminate your account for breach of these Terms. You may delete your account at any time via account settings. Transaction records are retained for 5 years for VAT purposes; other data for up to 2 years for dispute resolution.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates (Dubai).
For EU/Swiss users: this does not limit your right to bring proceedings before your local courts or to rely on mandatory consumer protection laws of your country of habitual residence.
